Cardiff City sign Mats Moller Daehli

Molde and Norway midfielder Mats Moller Daehli has become new Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s second signing since taking charge in place of ex manager Malky Mackay.

The transfer, for an undisclosed fee, was confirmed after their 2-0 defeat by West Ham United.

Daehli, 18, follows fellow ex-Manchester United reserve player Magnus Wolff Eikrem to the Welsh capital. Manchester United were rumoured to have wanted to sign the youngster, trying to trigger a clause in his contract. This however was unsuccesful, and City managed to sign their man.
