‘ NEIL WARNOCKS IN TALKS WITH STRIKER HE WANTS ‘

Neil Warnock has already held talks with the main players he wants to sign for Cardiff City this coming summer ready for the 2017-18 season.

At the moment Warnock is concentrating on landing a new striker to provide the goals for a play-off charge next season –

Warnock has put Southampton striker Sam Gallagher top of his list and has held personal talks with with Gallagher.

Gallagher won’t be cheap and will cost Cardiff City a major part of Warnocks budget, but Warnock knows another striker is what is needed badly if City want promotion next season.

It was hoped that Idriss Saadi would be coming back and even be Cardiff City’s third striker behind Kenneth Zohore and Warnocks new striker that will be announced very soon, but its believed Saadi has been told once again he will not be needed for next season.

Sam Gallagher is still only 21 years old and has made 18 appearances for Southampton scoring one goal.

Gallagher was then loaned out to Milton Keynes in 2015 and then to Blackburn Rovers in 2016.

Southampton are prepared to sell the striker, but he won’t be cheap.

Can Cardiff City afford to buy him, thats the big question?
