Carl Curtis : Cardiff City need to toughen up mentally
When we were in possession tonight we looked fairly comfortable without creating Middlesbrough many problems but what worried me was when we were defending we didn’t press the ball. Too many times we stood off the ball and allowed Middlesbrough to knock it about.
Looking at the positives, I thought Kadeem was exciting when he was running at the opposition, Revell looks like he could be a decent signing too.
The diamond in midfield was effective in the first half when we had possession but we didn’t cover the width quick enough when we lost the ball.
Sean Morrison made mistakes and looked a weak link and was lucky to get away with them.
We look a side that doesn’t take a great deal of effort or imagination to break down and once we concede it is difficult to see us coming back into it.
We got a soft underbelly and unless we galvanise then it could be a very difficult couple of months ahead.
Making the long journey home now and it has been two long trips in just a few days with no points to show for it.
