Carl Curtis : Top ten finish for Cardiff City ?
Despite losing tonight City did our travelling fans proud with a performance that really didn’t reflect on the score line.
I was not optimistic of getting any points at Ipswich but the performance has certainly given me hope in the remaining three games.
I do expect City to beat Millwall and Blackpool at home and if we can get something at Foreat on the last day then a top ten finish may very well be achievable.
It was good that Mason had a start and put in a solid performance and Pilkington got some minutes on the pitch.
A 3-1 loss at this stage of the season against a team pushing for a place in the Premier League is not an embarrassing defeat but as I said the result did not reflect the performance of the team, the signs were good on tonight’s showing.
