As you all know Russell Slade is in Malaysia, where he is meeting Vincent Tan to discuss targets for next season, Slade has two lists of targets to go through with the owner.

The first list, which is his priority list of players, includes Daryl Murphy, which is no more than 10 players on it.

The second list is a larger list of players, which include Conor Hourihane, of more than twenty players should Slade fail to buy players from his priority list then he will fall back to his plan b list.

It will be interesting to see if Tan is prepared to bid £4m on one player let alone spend more money on other signings.

I wonder what backing, financially speaking, Russell Slade will get from Tan ?

He certainly has Tan’s vocal support but will he have Tan’s financial support ?
