Annis Abraham : Lacklustre first half to City making a second half

” LACKLUSTRE FIRST HALF, TO CITY MAKING A SECOND HALF ”

My View/Opinion

First half felt like a pre-season warm up, to making a second half a comfortable win and 3 valuable points.
As City continue there march up the table.

But where are the fans?

City now 2nd in the League.

13,715 Crowd

City went in to this game undefeated in the League and full of confidence after back to back wins against Wolves and Forest, whilst Huddersfield were yet to find a win in their opening 5 games, and find themselves in the relegation zone.

Crowd hardly raised their voices.

With in the first couple of mins Mason put the ball through for Kenwyne Jones who’s shot was well saved.
18mins Peltier off injured, replaced by Scott Malone.

First 45mins City had more of the possession but did little with it.

City 53% incl 2 shots on target
Hudders 47% incl 0 shots on target

Half-time City 0 Huddersfield 0
56mins Kenwyne was one on one with Hudds goalie and missed a great chance.

58ins shocked Slade took off Kenwyne replaced by Ameobi.

67 mins Huddersfield could have got a penalty, thankfully not given and with in a minute Pilkighton scored 1-0 City.
77 mins 2-0 Joe Mason.

85mins Gunnarsson on for Mason

City did not have to go in to second gear to win this.

That’s 3 wins on the bounce.

My man of the match JOE RALLS much improved.

Up next Hull City home this Tuesday night.
