Annis Abraham : Cardiff City fans travelling away and their behaviour
” CARDIFF CITY FANS TRAVELLING AWAY & THEIR BEHAVIOUR ”
So far this season we have had only one arrest from our home and away games.
Our club and Safety Officers have met Brighton Police regarding this Saturday’s game at 3pm.
It’s the first time in years that we have played away at Brighton on a Saturday afternoon and the local police because of our past reputation had doubts about the day, time,Rvs,restrictions on our numbers and whether we should be able to drink in their Town Centre.
Our Club,Safety officer and Police reassured them of our arrest record over the last 5 years and that’ it’s actually one of the best in the Football League.
Another worry was that our fans will come to the ground and away from the ground on the same public transport as Brighton fans, this does worry Brighton Police, but they have been reassured that our fan base now is virtually trouble free.
So just a reminder that any trouble Saturday could ruin the rest of the seasons away games for the fans who travel week in week out.
Over 1,200 Cardiff Fans are travelling to Brighton, with NO RESTRICTIONS AT ALL /LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY.
