The event took place on Friday October 9th.

Was it worth the money?

18 teams of four players
£400 a team
Bacon rolls and coffee on arrival.
Free taylor made Cardiff city gift box with three balls marker and towel.
Emma Harding shop manageress was promoting Cardiff City club shop golf range.

Shot gun start 12.30 every team on 1-18 holes
During the game you had the commercial team driving around on buggys giving out water or bottles of bulmers.

On reaching the first tee, club photographer Peter Thomas filling heinken pint glasses before proceeding with team photo.

Hole one was a chance to win BMW – but small print if read correctly you would have needed to been placed 180 yards from hole and the tee was 175 yards, hmmmm.

There was a prize on every par three for hole in one, ranging from set of clubs to luxury holidays.

On finishing round we sat down to a two course meal (chips, puff pie and peas ) alicart slice chocolate cake desert.

Speeches were led by Nic Helsop and Roger Gibbons which were rushed.
Only players there were ex City players Scott Young and Damon Searle.

Poor really, should have been at least a current Cardiff City player as in the past.
In each team playing and sat at the table for a non rushed three course meal.
With manager or owners giving talks and speeches about what is happening at the club.
What progress had or not been made what players due to stay or go or come in all in all day was rushed and quite a few teams were disappointed of the set up under the Heading CARDIFF CITY GOLF DAY – nothing special at all.

Cardiff City Forum came joint third lost out on count back.

Not a professional day at all.
