CCFC fans update

By Carl Curtis

There are no restrictions for City fans travelling to Elland Road on Tuesday November 3rd to face Leeds Utd, this is a positive step forward after the debacle of last season in particular. The fact it is on a weeknight has obviously contributed to the decision but at least restrictions have been lifted.

The story is very different for the trip to Ashton Gate on Saturday March 5th 2016 for the match versus Bristol City, Bluebirds fans will have to go to an RV for a voucher exchange, likewise the Bristol City fans must do so for their visit to the CCS on Monday.

This is not a decision taken by either club but that of the police forces covering both clubs.

Cardiff City will have a reduced allocation for the March fixture of 1,200 and a qualifying criteria will be in place based on previous away games attended. The allocation is not a police restriction but solely because of the expansion work that is being undertaken at Ashton Gate.

Bristol City have been offered 2,000 tickets for next weeks live on Sky fixture but are expected to bring around 600 to the Welsh capital.
