I’ve been told that Vincent Tan has contacted Mehmet Dalman and Ken Choo today, to discuss the current situation with recent results.

It will be interesting to see what comes of this, but my personal opinion is that nothing will come of this but I don’t see them backing him in January unless they are in the top six.
