Forced to make changes and it pays off
My View/Opinion

” FORCED TO MAKE CHANGES AND IT PAYS OFF ”
An improved City team who finally showed some fight and attacking football
Putting Joe Ralls in the middle for me made a hell of a difference, which Slade was forced to do, please don’t bring Whittingham back.
Slade was under pressure to deliver a victory and he did.

City went in to this game without a City player scoring since 3rd October and having just lost at struggling Leeds United, but Reading also had their own problems having not won for 5 games and with 6 key players missing today, so the pressure was on both clubs to get a result today.
Both sides attacked each other for the first 25mins
City were showing a lot more desire today.
But in the 39th min a mistake by Gunnarsson let Reading through and thankfully Marshall made a one handed great save.
43rd minute a free kick taken by Joe Ralls followed by a header from Kenwyne Jones and bang 1-0 City.
Possession City 57% Reading 43%
Half-time City 1 Reading 0
In the 52nd min a Joe Ralls corner for City and a great header in from Connolly 2-0 City.
61st min another great save by Marshall.
62nd min Joe Mason replaced by Ameobi
76th min Kenwyne Jones replaced by Saadi(making his debut
Immediately Saadi had his first shot and was well saved by the Reading keeper.
79 and 80th min Marshall made two good saves.
Even Craig Noone today made a couple of good runs
For me Kenwyne Jones and Joe Ralls were the main difference today.
Some great saves by Marshall.

My Man of the Match Joe Ralls.
Now an International break and lets hope we can have Fabio and a few others back for our next League game.
