‘ MINI UPDATE CARDIFF CITY : WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 23RD 2015 ‘

Next season’s home blue kit, will launch in June 2016, I have been told that it looks better than this years blue kit.

The club expect it to be more successful than this season’s blue kit, if it is better than the current home kit then no doubt they will have a winner on their hands. Something for us all to look forward too next summer.

Regarding this season’s home kit, there is very limited stock left at the club shop, only larger sizes are available.

There will be no more blue kit ordered or stocked so if you wish to get your hands on this season’s home kit then you need to buy it soon because once they are gone they are gone.

There is however plenty of blue on sale at the club shop, probably 90% of the shop is blue, so you don’t have to just have the kit there are plenty of other options to buy blue.

The away red kit is now 50% off at club shop and online, the red kit was originally ordered early last season with it being the home kit, hence why we have so much stock still available.

The recent players day at the club shop last week turned out to be the best single sales day of the year only second to the launch day of this season’s Adidas blue home kit.

This has been the busiest December sales the club shop has had in four years, which obviously includes the Premier League season, so the return to blue has been a success commercially and you only have to take a look inside to see that there is a buzz in the shop that hasn’t been there for a number of years.

West Midlands police stopped the option of pay on the day against Birmingham on Black Friday.

Our club asks every club to allow our fans to pay on the day at every away game. The club does fight the corner of our fans regularly to give us the same rights we give to away fans visiting Cardiff City Stadium.

MK Dons on Boxing Day has topped 1,000 sales and the club has requested that we can pay on the day, hopefully tomorrow we will learn if it is to be allowed.

The Nottingham Forest home game is on Tuesday December 29th, because Forest play Leeds on the Sunday live on Sky and we were requested to move the game back 24 hours as a result, City believe that if the game was played as originally planned on the bank holiday Monday 28th then we would have had a bumper crowd of around 20,000.

It is Only £12 for an Under 16 without an accompanying adult in the Canton Stand. Adults are priced at just £18, so let’s try and prove the club wrong and push friends and family to get that bumper crowd. The club are not expecting more than 16,000 which is a shame because I agree with the club that we could reach 20,000.
