” We’re not releasing our accounts, but we didn’t make a loss and it’s a technical interpretation of a particular clause”

Asked whether the transfer embargo is a blow to our play off hopes Mehmet Dalman said

” We would have liked to have added to the squad, it was our intention to do so and it has come as a surprise and we are disappointed. But whether we make the play offs or not was not to do with signing one or two players, we got bigger issues than that. ”

 

My View

I find that a very interesting quote by the chairman, claiming a couple of signings wouldn’t assist or aide our chances of making the play offs, that is the biggest indication yet by the chairman that he has little belief in our manager in my opinion.
