One year on – proof of improvement

‘ ONE YEAR ON – PROOF OF IMPROVEMENT ‘

By Carl Curtis

I was looking back at the league table from exactly one year ago and it is clear to see that there has been an improvement in our league position after 29 games played.

Last season we had 35 points from our 29 games, we were 15th in the league and 15 points from the play offs.

This season we have got 44 points from 29 games, we are 9th in the league and 4 points from the play offs.

Eventual play off winners from last season were Norwich, after 29 games they had 47 points in 7th position and 3 points from the play offs. They eventually finished in 3rd position on 86 points.

Wolves finished the season 78 points but missed out on the play offs on goal difference but after 29 games last season were just one point better off than Cardiff City are this season but they were 5 points behind the play offs at this stage last year.

City are in a good position and do have a decent run in, there are other teams who are in the mix but I have a genuine hope that City can make it into the top six again this season.
