Cardiff City’s home support 2015/16 season in numbers:
In total 378,203 fans watched the twenty three Championship fixtures at CCS this season.
The average attendance was 16,443.
The average home support was 15,610.
The average away support was 833.
The biggest attendance was 28,860 versus Derby County.
The lowest attendance was 12,279 versus Brentford.
The biggest attendance where there were not free tickets given away was 15,566 versus Preston.
The average attendance was boosted considerably by the free tickets giveaway in final few games, if we took the highest attendance (without free ticket giveaways) of the season and replaced the ‘inflated’ attendances at the end of the season with that 15,566 figure then the average attendance would have been 14,726.
