Stick together more than ever
Vince Alm Cardiff City Supporters Club
It is looking more than likely it could be my ninth relegation following Cardiff City can’t complain been a good 14 years since the last, but it has been tough for so many other reasons than just recent poor performances. A season of hope and enjoyment evaporated as the first rumours of a rift between Tan and the management staff broke in late September which deteriorated into comical farce more suitable for a soap opera than a football club!
Whatever happens during the rest of the season we now need to stick together more than ever and keep our (Supporters) pride and dignity in tact starting this Sunday at spurs by focusing our energy and support to the 11 players on the pitch!
Cardiff City; we’ve got supporters from the Rhondda Valleys; from the Cynon Valley. We’ve got supporters from Blackwood, Rumney valley, Barry, Bridgend, Port Talbot. Neath, Newport, Forest of Dean, Monmouth, Heads of the valleys, Brecon, Hollyhead, north Wales, Cwmbran, Ely valley, Measteg, Glyncorwg, Caerau maesteg, Llantwit, Penarth, all of the Vale of Glamorgan, Llanelli, Carmarthen, Swansea, Pembroke, Aberystwyth, Bristol, London, Australia, America, Norway, Holland etc. And right here in all Cardiffians. Some of you may have experienced discrimination because of your point of view regarding the rebrand. But for you and me now, all that is gone.
We’re moving into freefall as a club rudderless with no plan; but we will together support the team and each other through this difficult period whatever the final outcome. And you won’t care what there view once was, or by what name they call the club. They say we are already relegated! Now let us understand the situation. We are going into battle against tough and determined opponents, and a club being run like a circus but all is not lost!
Can’t promise you that we will stay up? But before you, that when we go into battle at spurs on Sunday, I will be the first to start singing once the game starts, and I will be the last to stop, and I will do my best to keep us together during these tough times.
There are plenty of tickets left for Spurs, so show your support for the team and each other no more excuses.
This was our time lets not waste it because of some bizarre decisions made outside of our control 51 years of pain and suffering enjoy what’s left of it together as one group.
One club! One Colour! One Name! One team! OUR team Cardiff City The Bluebirds!
