Cardiff City new manager Neil Warnock: Promotion is my aim, possibly even this season

Football manager veteran also eluded to the fact he is desperate to secure an eight promotion on his managerial CV.

Whilst Cardiff may sit in the relegation zone after 11 matches, losing six of their last seven games overall, but said that it wasn’t completely unlikely for them to get back into the shake-up this season. They are 12 points behind Birmingham City, who occupy the final play-off position,

“I’m looking for a job that can give me my eighth promotion. It’s not impossible here, but it’s difficult when you’re second from bottom.”
