Neil Warnock:
Changes for Forest match?

Hoping to keep same team for the 3rd match running :thumbright: :bluebird:

Neil Warnock: “I’m not too much of a tinkerer, I just don’t know if there’ll be changes. We’ll have to wait and see with some of the players.”
On Injuries ,couple of problems, I can’t tell you exactly what. We’ll wait til we get up there and then have a look at them, a couple of them have been carrying knocks the last couple of games.

We know we’re limited but all i can ask is they give me everything.

Neil Warnock on Rickie Lambert and his fitness

Friday 21st October 2016

Warnock: “We’re trying to get more balls to Lambert, but we’re playing really good games. We’ve had as many, if not more chances than our opponents, everybody would like to create more but where we are in the table, we have to graft first. Fluency and goals comes from confidence.”

“I don’t think he could have played 3 90 minutes, I’d like to play another one in there, so it’s a hard job for Rickie. With the teams we’re playing though we can’t conceded the midfield area. The goals against column was ridiculous so we have to work it.”
Will Cardiff settle for a point away from home at Forest tomorrow?

Warnock: “I’ve never gone anywhere for a point, we’ll look to win. But they’ve got quality, the likes of Henri Lansbury”

Neil Warnock had talks with Forest in the summer.

Warnock has revealed that he spoke to Forest about taking over as manager in the summer

“I had a chat with them, it’s a lovely club. That’s their prerogative. Two of my best mates are Forest season ticket holders, so they were hoping I’d take it.”

Neil Warnocks Reply today on Forest owners comments, saying British managers are corrupt.

Warnock:”The owner’s alright, he means well. They’ve invested a lot of money, the fans are good. I was at Notts County when Cloughie was over the water, they didn’t like British managers then either! It’s a great place to go, with your away fans opposite the dugout.”

Neil Warnock: “Foreign managers have become a lot more popular since foreign owners came in. It has changed the cycle but you learn the criteria at every club you’re at. At the end of the day, I’ve had a lot of clubs, but I’m still enjoying it”
‘ Amazed at Cardiff City support ‘

Neil Warnock: “It’s not what I thought it would be, it’s far better. I’ve always thought it’s a good club but I’ve been amazed at the support, not just from Cardiff but the Valleys and the like.”
Neil Warnock a huge believer in fate

“If i wanted to smile at everyone who turned me down over the years, I’d never stop smiling! I appreciated it, I spoke to a nice guy there throughout the summer, it wasn’t to be. I’m a huge believer in fate and this just suits me. My kind of club, close to home. It’s just a fantastic opportunity for me.”
