Neil Warnock talking about how he feels City have done so far and what needs to be done to get us out of the relegation zone.

Neil Warnock: “I didn’t think we would pull away from the relegation zone by now, we need a few reinforcements. Look at Hoilett and Bamba, I don’t know where we’d be without them.”

“‘It was mistakes that cost us this season. I don’t care what level you are, we made mistakes and we got punished for them. We getting punished by good players.

For Warnock, it also proved why he’s been talking about strengthening the group further in the coming January window as he knows we need a touch more quality and a few more options.

‘It’s disappointing, but it’s good to see where we are. The players are doing as well as they can.

I’ve no grouse about commitment, we just need a bit more quality. You can see with Sol Bamba and Junior Hoilett we brought better players into the squad and we need to do that again in January.’

‘The goals were just silly little mistakes at Villa, errors which you shouldn’t make at this level. A one-two letting your man go, trying to pinch the ball when you shouldn’t, it was disappointing.

Adding about the January transfer window once more that he felt fans needed to be patient given the group we have.

‘I can’t see a lot changing til January if I’m honest. We’ve got work with what we’ve got and they are giving everything. There’s no bad apples in there.

“In January we will look to bring in at least three players and more than that to leave.”

“We will also be looking at a striker,I’ve already pencilled in what players I need in January.”
