It’s often said the valleys are the heart and soul of Cardiff City and without them the fan base would be nothing, not from the valleys myself but totally agree with this.
I couldn’t but notice again at Villa, buses from Llantrisant, Barry, Bridgend, abercynon, Rhondda valleys.
You know the score, the usual surrounding villages, I know east Cardiff had a bus and am sure other areas of Cardiff had some buses but with the population of Cardiff as a City they are small in numbers, this is not a dig at those who come more an observation.
I know from season tickets at the club that the stronghold areas Llantrisant, Rhondda and the surrounding areas make up a huge amount. So why is this the case? And has it always been like this?

There is population of about 400,000 people in Cardiff and one million with in 30 miles.
You’ve just partly stated what Ive always said, with the size of our City and surrounding areas we should be getting minimum 20,000 home gates and taking away 2,000 fans.
We have no competition from other football clubs or rugby nowadays, so why why is our support so poor?
But your also right, just from Cardiff its self we should be getting bigger support.
