Lower Division clubs Sheffield United and Bradford City make the top 8 of the three English League Divisions with Best home support on Boxing day.

Sheffield United had nearly 26,000 fans against bottom of division one Oldham Athletic and Bradford City had nearly 22,000 fans against Scunthorpe United making them the envy of some Championship clubs.
When compared to some of Europe’s major leagues in Italy, France and Holland, Sheffield United AND Bradford City’s home gates surpass average attendances so far this season for clubs in Serie A (21,414), Ligue 1 (20,003) and the Eredivisie (18,907).

Once again the big guns of the Championship Newcastle and Aston Villa had the biggest crowds of the day a whopping home crowd of 52,179 at St James Park,for a night game and live on Sky tv,plus Aston Villa had 41,337 against little Burton Albion.
Both Newcastle and Aston Villa also sell out where ever they visit and home clubs having full capacity’s.
