” CARDIFF CITY GAVE A GREAT BATTLING PERFORMANCE “

My View/Opinion

” CITY GAVE A GREAT BATTLING PERFORMANCE/BUT THE PRESSURE PAID OFF FOR BRIGHTON IN THE END ”

Cardiff City gave a great battling performance in the first-half and frustrated Brighton and even could of scored.

The second-half Brighton pushed City players even deeper in to their own half and the pressure finally paid off and Brighton go back to the Top of the Championship.

Brave performance by Cardiff City :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

New signing Greg Halford and Jazz Richards made their first start for Neil Warnock tonight in place of Pilkighton and Connolly.

Brighton for the first 15 mins really took the game to Cardiff.

After 30mins City had a great spell and Hoilet and Harris playing well :bluebird: :bluebird:

Then Warnock got City to slow the game down and waste time etc angering the home crowd 😆

Junior Hoilet had a shot tipped over just before half-time.

HT Brighton 0 City 0
Brighton put more pressure on City and pushed them deeper in to their own half for long periods of the game.
Bamba and Morrison were made to work hard and kept busy by the Brighton forwards.
City players continued like they did in the first-half wasting time and frustrating Brighton manager Chris Hughton 😆

Brighton pressure paid off and in the 75th min scored Hemed scored for them 1-0 😥
78th min Warnock brought Rhys Healey and former Brighton man Craig Noone on for Greg Halford and Junior Hoilett.

88th min Whittingham cames on for Ralls.
City never really threatened and Brighton deserved the three points.
