Cardiff City went in at half-time deservedly in front and what an amazing goal by Kenneth Zohore.

City were more laid back in the second-half,but always looked in control.

Cardiff City ran out to a lifeless and more than half empty stadium.

City looked the better in the first 20 mins and went 1-0 up from a Whittingham penalty :bluebird: :bluebird: after Junior Hoilett was brought down.
Then in the 28th min Kenneth Zohore collected the ball from Whitts on the halfway line before setting off on a driving run towards goal,he beat all three defenders before delicately chipping over Maxwell to double the lead 2-0 :bluebird:

45th min Hoilett hit the ball towards goal, but it rebounded off the crossbar.

City well deserved their 2-0 lead.

Peltier went off and was replaced by Connolly during half/time

City for the first half hour were no where near like they were in the first half, luckily Preston never really threatened.

Zohore continued to be lively for City though.

As the game went on Gunnarsson and Whittingham took control and passed well and slowed the game down.

78th min Whittingham was replaced by Halford.

City eased to the 90mins
