‘ NEIL WARNOCK NOT HAPPY AT ALL ‘
NEIL WARNOCK:”WE WILL NOW LOOK AT OTHER PLAYERS”
BY ANNIS ABRAHAM
Neil Warnock was interviewed after Cardiff’s away defeat at QPR and wished we never had a game this Tuesday night away to Blackburn.
Warnock has got currently a small squad and has at least four of his main players out injured Rickie Lambert, Lee Peltier, Bruno Manga, Rhys Healey and three of them will be lucky to be fully fir by the end of this season.
Warnock was unable to strengthen in January in the way he wanted and intends to fully do that this summer.
Neil Warnock:
“We are a little bit short yes, what are you doing on Tuesday?” joked Warnock when asked about the state of his squad, depleted partly by injury, but also by the failure to land key recruits in January.
“I’m looking all the time to see what we need next season and today I made up my mind on the odd position,” said Warnock.
“And we’ve got 11 games left to have a look at the others.
“We don’t want to mess about next year. We want to start well and come to places like this and win.
“Hopefully if my health lasts I’ll come back here next year and give them a good game.
“Because if we can’t win here after dominating a team like that, we’re not going to get in the play-offs are we?”
