Vincent Tans changes Cardiff City’s kit back to Blue :bluescarf:
Owner Vincent Tan switched the club’s home shirts from the traditional blue to red in the summer of 2012, but, after pressure from supporters, reversed the decision in January 2015.

In July 2015 when Gavin Rae was interviewed.

Gavin Rae welcomed the move, but said the switch should never have happened in the first place. :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Gavin Rae:
“He is obviously a huge investor, but you’ve got to remember, it’s not been his club for the whole of history,” said Rae. “It’s never been red for starters.”

“I support Aberdeen, they have obviously always been red and if they changed to a different colour it would be bizarre. It’s like Rangers or Celtic changing their colours, it’s unthinkable, no-one would even contemplate it.”

“It’s paramount the club now focuses on matters on the pitch, there has just been so much stuff going on off the pitch the last couple of years.”

“It is obviously much better now things are back to being blue, and the new strip is lovely. Cardiff are in the right place now, but it is a factor they could have dome without over the last couple of years.”
