Neil Warnock thinks Sheffield Wednesday are one of two clubs who could go up via the play-offs.

Neil Warnock:
“I think they could win the play-offs, Sheffield Wednesday or Fulham.” he said. “Fulham are a good side but they’re not so good on the defensive side of the game so it’ll be interesting.”

Cardiff City striker Rickie Lambert is back in the fold having made the bench last weekend, but the Bluebirds will be without long-term absentees Lee Peltier and Rhys Healey.

Lee Peltier has returned to training following an ankle operation but he won’t be risked until the last game or two of the season or even might have to wait for next seasons pre-season friendlies.

Neil Warnock on Sheffield Wednesday

NEIL WARNOCK:

“I always get a nice warm welcome and that spurs me on. We’ve always had that rivalry in Sheffield and it’s healthy, there’s nothing wrong with it. Just good camaraderie between the two clubs.”

“It’s been good to see Sheffield United back in the Championship and Blades fans will want a local derby next year – so they’ll be cheering me on.”

“Wednesday spent more on one player in January than we’ve spent. It’s a great atmosphere and I‘ve got a lot of time for Carlos.
I’ve got a sneaky feeling whichever of Sheffield Wednesday or Fulham get in the play-offs could go all the way.”
