“I think he’s done well. First couple of games I was disappointed with him, but he’s been great, fitted in. He’s loved his time, it’s given him a new zest, we have to play it by here. ”
“I think he hopes Hull stays up so it’s like winning for the pools. I don’t know if he stays, financially it’s difficult because we only took him for a few months. We’ll have to see.”

“We’ve spoken. He’s gone away. They play June 11 (Gabon) so I’ve arranged with Bruno for him to fly back on June 13. I’ll be discussing him with Vincent and talking to his agent in the meantime.”
“There’s discussions and I think he’s enjoying playing for me, but the circumstances couldn’t be the same as before. Since I’ve been here he’s played very well and it would be nice to keep him.”
“We’ve got the best three centre-backs in the division I think and then Connolly who I totally trust wherever I play him. You need that, look at Brighton with (Shane) Duffy and dunk, it’s a vital position.”
Cardiff will be without long-term absentees Sol Bamba and Rhys Healey for the game at Huddersfield.

“We spoke to the club in January about Neil but I wasn’t prepared to pay for the fee. I leave it to the keeping coach, Dibble advises us what we should do so we leave it to him.”

Cardiff City are looking to sign Walsall goalkeeper Neil Etheridge when his current deal with Walsall ends this summer according to HITC.
Neil Warnock has previously stated that he is unable to sign Scotland’s Allan McGregor – who is currently on loan from Premier League side Hull City – so a permanent basis is unlikely due to Cardiff City’s financial reasons.
