Injury (and illness) update

Neil Warnock:

“I don’t know how many (are unavailable), we’ll have to see.”

” We can’t really plan the team until tomorrow.”
“The back five is okay but there are problems elsewhere. Hopefully Gunnars can train, he’s been really knocked back by the virus, and there’s some others with a bug, so it’s all hands on deck.”

“Gunnar has been too weak to train until today. He knows the situation, he’s been doing his own thing, we won’t risk him and leave it to him.”

Neil Warnock on the current announcement of Cardiff City’s latest Losses in their accounts.
Cardiff’s financial situation, the release of their latest accounts that showed an £8.74m loss for last season.

Warnock stressed that there had been no change to plans for transfers ahead of his first full campaign having only recently committed himself to a new deal on the back of assurances about money to spend.
Asked on the back of the latest accounts that he still had his summer budget sorted, the veteran boss said: “Absolutely. The way we are looking as a club, the owner and the chairman are going to give me the tools to have a go and I don’t see why not because I don’t see many better teams than us.”

” We gave the ball away too many times on the break when we could have finished Blackburn – and that’s the type of thing we need to improve as we look towards next season.

“The substitutes were disappointing. Declan John should have stopped the cross and Nooney (Craig Noone) should have stopped the man, especially when we’ve told them exactly that, especially when we’ve come all this way,I was disappointed in them both”

 

 

 

Neil Warnock: “There’s no news. With FFP we have to see what we’ve got. The lads out of contract, we can’t rush into that because we need to see where we lie, we need to get the wages sorted with one or two other decisions to be made in the next few weeks. So whereas I was going to try and make it an urgent thing, it’s not the case at the minute.”

“We’ve had some younger players in squad, (Ibrahim) Meite and (Mark) Harris, I could put someone on and it’s nice to get them involved at home.”
“Bruno (Manga) is not far away and Lambert did some training yesterday, so we’re hoping for good news. Bruno’s agent asked for him to have treatment for four months in France when first did it but our own assessment suggested it would be four weeks rather than months.”
